Is shooting a gun on your bucket list, or how about visiting an indoor gun range for the first time? If the answer is yes to either, you are not alone. Both were on my list and luckily Bill’s Gun Shop and Range made it possible! I went on Ladies Night, which is every Wednesday, and we all had a total blast with our instructor, Jolene. Without a doubt, I was the most anxious in my group. Jolene took the time to listen and understand my apprehensions. Incredibly knowledgeable and informative, she really created a safe and non-judgmental space where we could ask any question, no matter how big or small. She was patient and made the entire experience comfortable and educational. I don’t think that I would’ve been able to do it without her encouragement. I even mentioned my experience yesterday morning on the Wayne Eddie Affair on KYMN 95.1 FM!

It is also a great place to get to know veteran shooting professionals who can get you up to speed on current regulations and safety precautions. Every single person on staff was helpful, friendly, patient and not at all intimidating – which is vital to someone who has never been to a gun range. Each were passionate about their craft and really created a welcoming environment.  As a total rookie, I was surprised at how empowering it was! A big thanks to Bill’s for an incredible experience!
