The Frontier Bar

Events, Food & Drink / Tuesday, August 30th, 2016

On the south side of Carnes Avenue, between Liggett and Nelson streets sits Frontier Bar. A place known more for their attention to detail with their quirky, funny, western, saloon decor than nearly any other place at the fair – it just so happens to be the next stop as we drink our way through the Minnesota State Fair with Lift Bridge. Frontier is so much more than ornamentation, they are the best place to get cowboy bites, Yosemite SAMwich, BBQ Pork Rib Sandwich Sidewinders, Sriracha Chix Bites, and even a cup of salted-in-shell peanuts for a buck. Fun fact, they serve Farm Girl on tap colder than anyone. Seriously, 35 degrees, its been tested.
