This past weekend I got to cross off Tin Whiskers Brewing Company from the #mnbucketlist with a few of my favorite people AND even had an entire beer by myself (which is a huge thing, if you know me IRL). Just around the block from Black Sheep Pizza, Key’s Café, the Urban Flower Field and Camp Bar, Tin Whiskers is run by a bunch of self-professed nerds with electrical engineering backgrounds and stands on its own with a great open space, fun branding and comfort-meets-industrial décor. As a compliment to their mascot, even their flights come on circuit boards. And since they just had their one-year anniversary last week, it was inevitable that I’d have to stop by. Adria and I fell in love with their Wheat Stone Bridge, mostly because of the honey and chamomile taste. Fun Fact: This beer is named for the Wheatstone bridge, an electrical circuit used to measure an unknown electrical resistance by balancing two legs of a bridge circuit, one leg of which includes the unknown component. See, they really are nerds.
