Since this is also a big travel weekend, I thought I’d Bucket List Shoyu at the MSP airport. If you’ve walked through MSP lately, you’ve seen it, even if you didn’t know what it was. It’s a modern Japanese restaurant. I was there for breakfast, which seems weird but they had things that were more like traditional American brunch food. And there is pasta hanging everywhere – which seemed like the design concept was lost. But hey, the place is a beautiful change to an otherwise same old same old airport. It is expensive but it’s expected with the service and ambiance you’ll get. If you get stuck waiting, stop there, find your techy musings; big screens with sports and politics and ipads to browse before your flight. They’ll have something you’ll like.
