A walk in the park before the leaves change.
History:
Lake Ann Park is Chanhassen’s premier community park! This 102-acre park is located at 1456 West 78th Street. The topography of the site has gently rolling hills, while the western quarter of the park is in dense tree cover.
Lake Ann Park is so special due to the presence of beautiful Lake Ann. This quiet (non-motorized) lake offers solitude, clean water, and 100% undeveloped shores. The beach has lifeguards on duty from approximately the second week of June until approximately the third week in August. Typically lifeguards are on duty from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily (weather permitting).
Concessions and boat rentals are available daily during the summer months from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (weather permitting). Other amenities include two picnic/recreation shelters, reservation picnic sites, tennis court, six lighted ball fields, a soccer field, canoe racks available for rent, volleyball, trails, boat access, and a fishing pier. Come and enjoy beautiful Lake Ann Park!
