Rock Creek Cafe and Motor Stop

Even if you travel back and forth between the Twin Cities and Duluth, you may have still overlooked the Rock Creek Cafe and Motor Stop.
Located right off Highway 35 at the Rock Creek exit between Pine City & Hinckley, it is attached to the Rock Creek gas station.

The moment you walk in, you’ll find the giant SPECIALS board and antique trucks lining the walls. You can expect friendly service, a casual atmosphere, and a coffee cup that is always kept to the brim.

The quaint truck stop is chock full of patrons on the weekends, but worth the wait!

They are famous for the Chicken Dumpling Soup – there’s even a roadside my-size chicken outside, perfect for road trip photo backdrops!

Another lesser-known favorite is the Trucker’s breakfast’s including The Heidelberger Haystack; hash brown base, eggs, maple flavored sausage, smothered with sausage gravy and topped with shredded cheddar cheese.

Not gonna lie, I was all about the short stack and strawberry pie.

Road trip carb-loading at its finest!

Have you run across Rock Creek yet?
