Sunnybrook Park and Campground

Parks & Geology / Saturday, June 18th, 2016

That view! Seriously, look at it! It’s part of Sunnybrook Park; a campground, fishing spot, photo op, recreation area and pseudo petting zoo – I’ll show you that next. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was when I drove up!

Sunnybrook has way more to offer than just pretty landscapes. It is also home to beautiful peacocks, very friendly tame deer and even a few buffalo. They have a 3 1/2 mile black top bike trail that goes to Whitetail Run Golf Course and fishing spots on Whiskey Creek, which flows through Sunnybrook Park. I skipped the recreation and hung out with the animals, go figure. If you are planning on visiting, they are open now until October.
