Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery

http://www.rockbottom.com/So let me preface the third stop on the 4th #Flight of the #MNBucketListBreweryTour (I know, I’m working on that…) by being upfront about it not originating in Minnesota. Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery started in Colorado in 1991, BUT they are here now, and have solidified themselves as a downtown staple – so, they made the list. Because of its location, it’s an easy walk to multiple sports arenas, drama houses, music venues, theaters and shopping. They have a tournament-level Billiard Room (that’s where we were!), upper and lower bar, massive dining room and a really relaxed, stay-for-a-while atmosphere. If you love beer, try their Minnesota Nice Mild Ale. OR their Devil’s Thumb Belgian pale ale, which won the gold medal for the 2014 World Beer Cup. That’s a real thing. If you aren’t a hoppy devotee, try their amazing food menu. I am a totally lover of their veggie burger (go figure). And to give them their due, they have 37 locations and boast over 700 original brews.
