Sisyphus Brewing

www.sisyphusbrewing.com/For the last stop on the 4th #Flight of the #MNBucketListBreweryTour, I chose Sisyphus Brewing. Now, I know what you’re thinking… Name? Kind of sounds like… Well, they get the association too. They are the first to bring it up actually. But the place is actually named for the Greek legend, who was condemned to push a rock up a hill for all eternity. In Sisyphus Brewing’s case, it’s a barrel of beer with the empty fermenters at the end of a long work week. Next week, the cycle begins again. But as they say, with the realization that life has no meaning, comes an opportunity. The humor of its marquee comes as no surprise as one of the owners is a former comedian. That being said, the goal is to eventually have an 88 seat comedy club next to the taproom. With shuffleboard and Cards Against Humanity, a dog-friendly taproom and a great mural of Paul Bunyan carrying a barrel down the block, it was a perfect way to end the night. A little more about them, you say? Well, Sisyphus also supports canine rescue by selling canine Sisyphus bandanas. All proceeds raised from the sale of bandanas goes to support No Dogs Left Behind helping dogs find their forever homes.

The next event will be September 26th so keep an eye out for the invite!
