Crystal Café is next on the #mnbucketlist and it’s a bit of a diamond in the rough actually. With daytime television as background noise between the two large rooms, they are exactly what you’d expect in an off-the-highway, seemingly residential café. They are a café but seem more like a diner in that the menu is enormous, everything comes in larger portions and its more about very traditional, American, home-style, greasy food. So much grease in fact that they had a grease fire back in 2013 that ensued over $100k in damages. Yeesh. BUT they survived, reopened and the whole place is still full of regulars. Also, this is Dani. I have a knack for annoying people with intrusive photography, so if you plan on bucket listing with me, expect that.
