Since it IS #NationalBurgerDay and because I’m not one to disappoint, I bring you a stop on the #mnbucketlist that has really great branding with a ton of Minnesota focus – like that’s a surprise. Slims is a burger and philly cheesesteak fast food place in Brooklyn Center off Brooklyn Boulevard. I use the phrase “fast food” loosely because it’s almost like fast food meets urban design. Slim’s also has really, really good shakes and cheese fries, too (since I don’t eat burgers). Creative and inventive, it’s such a fun place to hang out. They offer dine in, take out and drive thru.
