If you’ve been following me for long, you probably already know that I’m a pretty big advocate for the Union Depot in St. Paul. Even more so since it reopened in 2012. It’s also known as the St. Paul Union Depot, a historic railroad station that has the same charm as the original. Every time I come, I fall a little bit more in love with it. Even with a remodel, they kept so much of Minnesota’s history; including the new murals that I had talked about previously, as well as the historic staircase that leads down to the platform. With a 1920’s motif, it is very reminiscent of flapper, neoclassical era. There’s even been a Minnstameet there!
