

This remote area in northern Minnesota is a result of a boundary dispute between the U.S. and Canada, making it the northernmost point of the contiguous United States.

Accessible only through Canada, it boasts unique geography, fantastic fishing opportunities, and a rustic charm.
Our journey took us to Angle Inlet, Minnesota, a quaint settlement surrounded by Lake of the Woods.

Here, we discovered a landscape of forests, lakes, and rugged terrain, perfect for outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, and camping.



Jerry’s Bar and Restaurant welcomed us with its cozy atmosphere and a menu featuring fresh seafood sourced from Lake of the Woods.





As we explored further, we came across the Northwest Angle Inlet Marker, a small monument marking the northernmost point of the contiguous United States.

This symbolic landmark represents the area’s unique geography and serves as a popular photo spot for tourists, capturing the essence of the boundary between the United States and Canada in this remote yet captivating corner of the world.
