If you’ve walked down East Superior Street in Old Downtown Duluth, you may have seen the sidewalk sign that reads, “Why go naked?” Can’t miss it! That’s Fig Leaf, a fun clothing boutique that is chock full of unique and colorful displays of jewelry, clothing, hats, scarves, shoes, boots, accessories, gifts – the list goes on and on. There is a little something for everyone. They also have a mobile truck for special events, fund raisers and parties! In-store, Fig displays vintage photos, old bank safes and old black-and-white movies being played on the back wall (I know, right?!) for a not-your-average experience! The brick walls and black-and-white checkerboard floor pairs well with the historic building it calls home. Formerly in Canal Park, Fig is in the Temple Opera Block building that used to be Vintage Duluth. If you plan on stopping in, make a day of it. Stroll through the shops it neighbors including Lake Superior Art Glass, Blind Pig, the coming Duluth Trading Co. and the soon to be restored, NorShor Theatre.
