Happy Hanukkah

Today marks the beginning of Hanukkah. As we light the first candle on the menorah and one more on the eve of each night, we celebrate the miracles and the rededication of the Holy Temple. We continue for eight days, our festival of lights, until January 1st. I love this time of year, not only because I’m Jewish but because of the nutriment, kinsfolk, bright lights and dark dark nights. Chag Urim Sameach to you all. As for me, I’m on my way to get a jelly-filled sufganya. חנוכה שמח
