Next on the #mnbucketlist is the #Oceanaire #Seafood Room, known simply as @theOceanaire. Located in #downtown #Minneapolis on 6th Street and although they have locations all over, they only have one in #Minnesota. The place isn’t short on #ambiance and it’s worth seeing for yourself. It is as though you stepped onto a #cruiseship or into the #Copacabana, minus the dancing and the #CarmenMiranda inspired #tropicalia #fruit hats. Oceanaire has been voted as one of the best seafood restaurants in the country, which isn’t a surprise as they have fresh #fish flown in daily and are famous for their #crabcakes, #salmon, #MahiMahi and their #bakedAlaska that’s flambéed right at the table. The last shown in the bottom middle – far too much of a spectacle not to capture on video. Lounge-y, expensive and downtown; the perfect place to entertain, to celebrate or to unwind. So, while Minnesota is a far cry from the #ocean, places like Oceanaire let us take in the impression of #seasalt air and #tropical surroundings – even if it is just for a night.
