Boom Island Brewing

Events, Food & Drink / Sunday, August 23rd, 2015

boomislandbrewing.com/The first stop on the 4th Flight of the #MNBucketListBreweryTour (I know, I should probably abbreviate) was the Belgian-inspired craft brewery founded by former professional French horn players who left the orchestra to focus on beer. Boom Island Brewing is in a quiet area of Minneapolis and from the ceiling adorned with a pair of Frenchhorns, to witbier like Witness, Ales like Yule and Silvius, its the closest you’ll get to Belgium in Minnesota. We hung out in the “Boom Room”, the garage-like taproom and got to hear all about the process and what sets Boom Island Brewing apart from all the other microbreweries. Not a big drinker? Come for a game of bags, all the best people and to pet the cute puppy visitors.
