Getting back to the #mnbucketlist… If you’ve ever driven down Woodland Avenue in Wayzata, you may have noticed a really huge, black, wrought iron sign that reads, ‘Groveland Cemetery’. Or all of the beautiful tulips growing everywhere. Either way, it’s actually a very lovely necropolis amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy road. There is a lot to be admired about this graveyard. One of the really cool facts that I learned was that the Pioneer Museum actually holds quite a few photographs of citizens that were born in the 1870s that were buried here; one in particular Captain Dudley P Chase, a veteran of the Civil War, was honored not too long ago for his efforts. Have ever seen this place?
