Getting back into the #mnbucketlist… Prior to stopping at Tin Whiskers, we stopped by Bennett’s Chop and Railhouse for dinner. Just off 7th in St Paul, Bennett’s is a quintessential neighborhood favorite. It’s like a cross between a sports bar and a basement steakhouse. If the name confuses you, let me clarify; they say chophouse because it specializes in a casual steakhouse atmosphere and they call it a rail house because it is on the old railroad line serving the city and rail drinks. They have all sorts of quirky things other things that set them apart too. Like Bennett’s shuttle – a bus that’s used for home games for the Wild, Vikings, Saints, Twins and Gopher Football. And if you are close, they are also part of bite squad.
