Zelo

If you are looking for an upscale, elegant, romantic night in Downtown Minneapolis, Zelo is where to go.
Part business lunch destination, part dark lit date night favorite, it is located in the Nicollet Mall inside the Medical Arts Building.
And the ambiance certainly doesn’t disappoint, filled with warm leather booths and soft modern lighting.
Known for their impeccable walleye and wine selection, I myself fell head over heels for their pasta.
I highly recommend the house-made ravioli made with ricotta, fettuccine with spinach, almonds and cream sauce, and the Margherita pizza.
But don’t forget to make reservations, the stunning dining rooms fill fast.
Interesting to note: Zelo was opened in 1999 by Rick Webb, who also owns Ciao Bella in the south metro and owned The Lexington in St. Paul throughout most of the 1990s.
