Route 61 Lounge and Bowling (formerly Gampers) has been a mainstay in Moose Lake for over 35 years.
The restaurant slash bowling alley slash arcade recently went through a face life during the shutdown and is back better (and busier!) than ever.
I originally came in for a family dinner while passing through town for their much-beloved salad bar.
I ended up falling head over heels for their cheese tortellini – I can’t say enough good things about their sauce.
If you love homey, comfort food, come here.

Or perhaps you’re in the mood to pull up a seat at the bar and watch a game or play pool, totally cool, too.

I’d be remiss not to mention that it is also now my go-to spot for bowling in northeastern Minnesota.

So if you find yourself in town, order up a plate of nachos, grab a pitcher of your favorite beverage, snag a ball and pick one of the eight lanes, preferably one near the incredible mural of a gambit of quintessential bowling alley patrons.

Highly recommend!
