During my stay on the Oregon Trail in Vergas, I took the two-minute walk over to Josh’s other establishment; Spanky’s Stone Hearth. Don’t let the name fool you, this is an upscale, fine-dining, foodie paradise.
Adding to my glamping experience, they offer hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, and even an option to just let the chef just surprise you.
Come during the day to have a view of gorgeous Rose Lake or hang out after dark to hear Spanky’s bartender moonlight as an exceptionally talented piano player.
Spanky’s comes complete with a stunning reserve cellar, impressive cocktail list, have a food truck, and do catering.
Highly, highly recommend stopping in.
