This perfectly iced beauty hails from Jay’z Bakery off Atlantic Avenue in Dassel. Jay’z is owned by Jason and Mona Zimmerman, who together have 38 years experience in the bakery profession including at SuperMoms, Inc, where they met. They offer a wide variety of bread, buns, bagels, cookies, pies, cupcakes and, yep you guessed it – donuts. The recipes are a mixture of Jason’s own recipes along with recipes from former Dassel bakery owner, Dave Backes. The store is open seven days a week from 4 am to 5 pm. Helpful note: they only take cash or check.
