Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant

Concerts & Venues / Sunday, November 26th, 2017

With a strong chill in the air, evenings out are spent indoors. I, for one, opt for musical venues and gorgeous spaces. Luckily, the Dakota is both. Established in 1985, the Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant opened in  St. Paul’s Bandana Square and has since moved to downtown Minneapolis in the Nicollet Mall. The Dakota was originally as a restaurant that featured jazz in the bar. It has since become one of the premier jazz clubs in the world featuring arguably the most talented musicians of the century from Prince to Brian McKnight.

Even though music has become what it is now known for, the Dakota stands out as one of the few music venues that holds an exceptional international reputation and boasts both musical and culinary talent. As we head into December, the Dakota is a great place to take in a holiday show! Have you ever been?
