The Lakeshore Grill at Macy’s Ridgedale is up next on the #mnbucketlist. While it may seem odd to include an in-store eatery on the bucket list – let me explain. When it comes to holidays, the mall, any mall, is unavoidable. Whether you drive past, walk through or stop in. And why not take a break from the quick fix and give Lakeshore a chance. This place, with its very Minnesota menu that includes Minnesota Wild Rice Soup and Walleye Strips is a nice change from the standard shopping-and-food-court cycle. An easy in and out, or stay awhile, Macy’s Lakeshore Grill has really great food and although the décor is more upscale, doesn’t come with a heavy price tag. They even have a very phantom-of-the-opera-esque chandelier (you know me, I have to mention the flair). I recommend the popovers, cranberry prosecco and the spiral fries. Since Minnesota and Macys are pioneers in the indoor shopping scene, Macys also has the Oak Grill at Macy’s Nicollet Mall and the Lakeshore Grill at Macy’s Southdale.
