In great nod to the pictures everyone takes, here is my contribution – the Urban Flower Field. Although I admit, I had very insouciant models – which always helps. The Urban Flower Field is a temporary art installation, a living civic process, if you will, and is on the corner of Robert and 10th street. It sits in the future site of Pedro Park, likely to be the largest park in downtown St Paul. Having been a gravel pit, it now serves as a living artistic science experiment and gathering space. It was produced by Public Art Saint Paul in partnership with the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation and has been a favorite among the social media entourages.
