31st Annual Taste of Chaska

My #throwbackthursday (#tbt) is actually from the #mnbucketlist #lastnight, when I went to the 31st Annual #TasteofChaska at the #City Square Park in #downtown #Chaska. It was filled with #local businesses, restaurants, #foodtrucks, kids’ activities, #livemusic from the #SoundCheck #Music School’s Public Relations Band and close to 2,000 residents. The #Chanhassen #Dinner #Theater even made an appearance. They did have one really cool thing worth mentioning – the #swminnetour featured a MN #Wine and #CraftBeer #Tent. The Minne Beer Wine and Spirits tour spotlights wineries, breweries and distilleries in the #SWMetro including #SovereignEstateWinery, #ParleyLakeWinery, #ExcelsiorBrewingCo, @jcarverdistillery, #WaconiaBrewingCompany, Schram Vineyards, #Winery and #Brewery, #ENKIBrewery (my personal favorite) and #LucidBrewery.

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Since it IS #MothersDay (#HappyMothersDay all you #beautiful #Mama's and #Nana's), I thought, what better way to #celebrate than to walk you through a place with #flowers. This #mnbucketlist-er is chock full of so much that a #slideshow was the only option. This is the #MinnesotaLandscapeArboretum that operates with the #UofM. It’s a big enclosure that is home to #trees, cedar trails, #waterfalls, ponds, #bridges, #wildlife and #gardens. Simply #stunning. The grounds are really well maintained and you'll even find #sculptures scattered throughout. Whether you are a #hiker, #walker, #birdwatcher, #gardener or just a lover of the #outdoors – this is a place for you. They have free admission every third Thursday after 4:30pm from #April through #October. STAY TUNED: Keep your #calendars open for May 21st, I'll be posting an #event tomorrow that you won't want to miss!
