Last night in Wadena means I had to make sure I stopped at The Uptown per my informants suggestion. And by informant, I mean the Manager on Duty at the hotel… Just off Jefferson, they are locally known for their Memphis Pulled Pork, Rib Stroganoff AND their killer murals that start on the side of the building and end at the second story sports-themed windows. I loved their Strawberry Fizz (pink lemonade and moscato) so much I could have swam in it. And as for food, I ate my weight in nachos and gorged on the adult mac and cheese. The kind of food that leaves you half asleep before even getting out the door. The perfect send off! Have you ever been here?
