Looking for more Halloween things to do? Add the Fright Farm Haunted House in Maplewood to your Spooky Bucket List. Housed in the Ramsey County Poor Farm which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places having been built in 1918, the location alone is sure to send chills down your spine. The Haunted House, in its 19th year, is put on by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s department and certainly doesn’t disappoint.

As you wait in line, check out the water tower, ablaze with a frightening face and actors weaving through the crowds, looking to scare. When you get in, you are welcomed to Gladstone Insane Asylum where you can scream and laugh and panic, no-one will be the wiser! Lots of chills and thrills for the whole family. They also have games, a fun house and other festivities outside.

Every Friday and Saturday night 7-11pm in October, tickets are $10 and go to benefit the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Foundation to support programs, D.A.R.E and K-9. Don’t worry, the Fright Farm also has a family friendly low scare matinee for kids this Sunday from 12-4pm. Admission is $5 for all ages.
