Minnesota Fringe Festival (Minneapolis American Indian Center)

MN Fringe Festival I finally crossed the Minnesota Fringe Festival off the #mnbucketlist when I went to the Opening Night performance of Bring the Children Home by the ever talented, Marcie Rendon. A story about the search for meaning, lending to both the physical and spiritual realms, laced with Native American traditions and culture. Imaginative and authentic, the show is a mix of a traveling acting troupe, street art and community based theater. It was hosted at the Minneapolis American Indian Center, a resource for social and educational services that opened in the 70s, making it one of the oldest in the country set right in the heart of urban Indian country. I’m actually posting a little early in hopes that you will consider going. There are still performances tonight at 5:30, 8:30 and Wednesday at 7.

  1. thank you so much for the promo – hey folks- there are plenty of tickets at the door – the fringe stops selling tickets the day before; that does not mean we are sold out – we still have lots of room for everyone
